Mumford & Sons

Tonight was the night of the magnificent Mumford and Sons at Dundee Caird Hall. Went with Virn and Sarah and had an awesome night! Gotta love the Dundee crowd...the upstairs seated tickets for some meant that they couldn't stand and dance due to the elevation of the seating, much to the amusement of us standing proprietors downstairs. Toward the end one guy, on his own, stood up, took his top off and swung it round his head; he saw the approaching security guard and slowly started to leave his seat as he refused to sit down so he was being partially compliant in leaving, dancing as he left. As he arrived at the curtained doorway he dashed away from the security guard who had been walking him to the exit, ran along the back row toward the other exit, stopped abruplty then bowed and left through that door instead. The security guard went out, presumably to check the man was in the adjacent hall...but the man popped his head back in and continued to dance, this then led to the security man engaging in a cat and mouse scenario for a few moments with the man, who then stopped and left, with much applause and laughter, the security guy did manage to crack a smile and laugh along too.

The lighting for the gig was awesome with the lights coming out from the stage and overhead, on some songs lighting in time with the bass - brilliant visual display and for the music and atmosphere, 10/10 - AWESOME NIGHT!
