SMOKY PANO....

.... across the Richmond Lowlands, and some dust too top it all off!!

We caught up with friends for and early Christmas lunch, and on the way back from the lookout over the mighty Hawkesbury River and the Richmond Lowlands, you can get an idea of the haze which has been consistent now for quite some time, due the bushfires still around the State. Apparently, still some 160 fires burning, thankfully most under control.
Whilst all this was going on, another of the busy Fire Fighting planes coming in to land, and a little Grey Fantail sitting watching what's doing!

Enjoy and have a look in LARGE to see the dust from the dry paddock as a truck goes through.

... Oh, and of course would you know today officially the first day of our summer, so with another level of water restrictions to come on in 11 days, and no sign of rain, things are very tough for our farmers etc.
