Today was such a good day!

Everyone threw down their books in honour of Lydia's sisters coming to visit us. We ate lunch in town, caught up on each others lives, laughed a lot, saw 'Pitch Perfect' at the cinema and laughed even more, then wandered back up to our little house to warm our toes and catch our breath.

Lyds and I walked the girls to the station later in the evening, and the first snowflakes of 2013 fell as we waved goodbye.
