Peaceful high tide

We don't often have a high tide but when we do the river disappears. Today it was cold and sunny and very peaceful with lots of birds around. A lovely walk. Someone today was telling me she missed her dog for going walking with - I told her I go walking with my camera it really does encourage me to go out,  rather like a dog but less trouble, maybe less demonstrative though!
