Wings

H forced me to help clear out some drawers, a job we have been putting off for ages. In amongst the staples, paperclips, old glasses and other general detritus was my Uncle Alfs RAF badge. It struck he wasn't much older than Alfie is now when he joined up. I think he was 18 or 19 when he was shot down.  I expect he'd be very disappointed with what the country he fought for is turning in to.
