Cartmel

A walk up onto Hampsfell this morning with step-son and grandson.  Their last day with us and C was keen to get a walk in.  Beautiful, frosty and very clear.  So lucky to live here.  C enjoyed it too, less so grandson.  Let's hope he appreciates it more when he is older.

'Christmas' lunch at home - turkey and all the trimmings and it was delicious.  Sticky Toffee Pudding to follow and cheese.  Full tummies.

Grand-daughter who is at home with Mum has said it's her turn next!
C left for the south at around 1700 and we wish him a safe journey home.  It has been an interesting visit and he is a lovely man.
