Sunny Sunday stroll

Yay! Another sunny day.. but it was cold. Officially freezing at -1. Mike decided he would finish off the hedge despite the cold. Hes done a great job and theres still plenty left for the birds to shelter in over winter. 

We decided to go down to the coast road to walk Fletch as there was no wind and plenty of sunshine.. it actually felt quite warm as it went ip to the dizzying height of 6 degrees. 
 I took my camera and new lens to see what it could do. The blackbird was hidden away  high up in a tree and it was more of an experiment to see if I could get a passable photo.  Cropped and zoomed when I got home and more in focus than I expected.

We planned a trip up to Carlisle tomorrow... just because.. but its 2 hours away and its going to  e another cold day so we may well end up going somewhere nearer. 
His Dark Materials tonight... Interesting to see how quite a bit of Book 2 has been incorporated into this first part... 
Last one of War of the Worlds tonight.. general opinion... ok but....
