Smith’s beach near Yallingup, WA

Site of my beach run today. Technically a ‘no dogs’ beach from Dec1 to Feb 1, according to the sign.

I noticed there were a few local dogs running and swimming. Just nipped down to clarify what the sign meant! Being from ‘away’, as they say in some parts of Oz, I was unsure.

Turns out, none of the local dogs can read. Who’d have thought?

Anyhow, won’t be back for a while....I’m sure it will be ok next time. Hope none of the local boys have to go to jail!
