SOUVENIR SELLERS

It's midday and a quiet time for the sellers as the tourists are all probably having lunch.
They know I am not a serious customer and tease me gently about needing ear rings.
I admire these men who travel down with their goods from the Congo, Ivory Coast and lands far to the north of South Africa, all to try to make some sort of living.
Every day they have to set out their stalls, unwrapping their wares from the newspaper they have packed it in. At the end of the day the whole display has to be packed up again and taken back to their temporary homes.
