First storm day

We got about 4mm of water during the night and after that we just had clouds circling us until the water started to pour down late afternoon. For a while it came down as it does in Gota Fria. Now it's just raining.

Some places have gotten water around 150mm already. We are at 14mm and it's looked worrying for about 30 minutes. We heard some thunder in the morning but it was very distant.

Again it's been worse north from us. It usually goes that way. Also south from us it's getting scary. Some areas are being evacuated. One of them being a place where we stayed for 2 weeks. It's flat area at the shore of Mar Menor. There's wetlands around. Houses are in 2 stories tops. So low built houses on flood area just by the sea. It's cold and dark. So glad nothing like this happened when we were there.

The storm will last at least til Wednesday. But today most likely the wettest day.
