The Ladder and the Leaf

I almost had my first shot of a butterfly, but then my dog bumped me from behind and it flew away. My aim for this year is to get a non-blurry close up of a butterfly and a dragonfly, they never sit still so i guess for this case... Its easier said than done!

I found this little guy on our ladder outside, and I really think its amazing how many shapes and sizes they come in, I took a picture of another type of moth a few days ago and its completely different!
what i find amazing about this one is that its wings are designed to look like dead leaves, it even has those veins that look like those on leaves?
