Home-Made Pasta

Though these shots look as though we made the pasta in the dark it was actually 4 in the afternoon and we had the lights on. Before we started making the pasta I decided I wanted to make some photos that would be black and white with a very contrasty look. To add to the look I also used a single off camera flash to over power the ambient light and create strong areas of light and dark.

As well as the pasta we also made chicken parmigiana by soaking chicken tenders in buttermilk then dipiing in breadcrumbs before a 2 min shallow fry. The chicken was then put in the over covered in tomato sauce and mozzarella. It all came out really well... even though child labour was used for the production of the pasta :-)
