Lake is High

After all the rain we have had the lake is slowly getting higher and higher.  At the moment our famous tree has one branch under water, and there is no beach for anyone to walk along.  The extra is of people under their umbrellas.

I went to morning tea with the church ladies, then after lunch for a walk to the new car park and back again.  I stick to the footpaths in wet weather.

My cousin and his wife stayed here last night, they slept in their converted bus.  They are going to Twizel today, hope to get to see Mt Cook.  Great to catch up with them again.

I am now off to collect little 'h' from school and take her swimming.  More rain in the forecast!
