Big waves

Strong winds all day. These are the waves breaking over the paths at Newton’s cove. We had to time our walk along this path to avoid getting soaked. Had breakfast in town and did some shopping. Took mum to Portland Bill in the afternoon- lovely to see the wild sea, but so windy that we soon took refuge in the cafe.
