Speed

Despite having been re-inspired by the photo tour, I somehow forgot to take a photo today (perhaps because I was asleep for more hours than I was awake), but here is one of the water fountains at Trocadero from Thursday.

Much to my dismay, the internet refused to work all day so what other choice did I have apart from lie-in til 11:30 and then nap from 3 'til 5:30? :) I left the room only to go buy bread, then eat the bread, then read a book, then do not much else. Internet decided to come back by the evening, so I skyped home and then George at uni which was nice but frustrating, as my connection is so bad that I can only make out every fifth word or so.

A conversation with dad which was presumably initially "I haven't read through your internship application yet - it's not that I couldn't be bothered, I've just been busy, but I'll do it maybe later or in the next two or three days" came through as "haven't read through your internship application... couldn't be bothered... maybe later".
