Silence is golden!

Today, I have more or less lost my voice!!
Probably just as well as otherwise I might have been shouting at motorists who run down an animal and leave them in the middle of the road.
This morning, the van in front of me braked and swerved into the middle of the road.
There was a fox. I stopped. It was dead but I don’t think it had been dead long. I put on my gloves and lifted it on to the verge. It just seems the right thing to do for other motorists, and somehow for the animal.
I think it’s a good idea to have a pair of gardening gloves in the back of the car.
