The Pool

At Madeley, Cheshire.  I visited a very, very dear friend and her husband in their new house there.  J started her life out in Cheshire and Shropshire where  we met over 40 years ago.  Twenty years ago she married once more, this time to a very, very nice man from Stroud which is where they have lived for over 20 years, but now she's come home again and brought the very, very nice man with her.  Unfortunately, a week after they moved in they both went down with the lurgy, big style but are on the mend again now.

We had a lovely walk round the Pool in the late afternoon, but as some serious dredging and shoring up was taking place to a large section of the Pool there was little wildlife around.  It's been another beautiful and clear day.
