Snow in Sussex

The road to our house this morning. It's a typical Sussex steep sided tree lined road, with cuttings through for groups of houses here and there. Probably originally an old track which Richard Williamson, esteemed nature correspondent of the Chichester Observer, calls by the old word 'rue'. Past our house, the road quickly leads into open countryside, farms, pasture and arable land. The way this shot is looking, it's just minutes into the village.

By the time I got outside, it was raining and the snow disappearing quite quickly. Another grey day. But the first snow of the winter deserves a blip, so here it is.
