Anyone for a Christmas Cuppa?

On my way to the library, on a cold sunny morning, my usually reliable Squirrel Corner let me down, so today is Squirrelless Tuesday! As it was our last book group of the year, we went to a cafe for a Christmas cuppa, where we discussed our latest read, ‘Rough Music’ by Patrick Gale; a well-written book, but one that raised quite a lot of issues, definitely not a cosy Christmas read.

Next it was time for the dreaded haircut, then home to find friends from Oxford had arrived earlier than planned and were waiting for me. Christmas presents were exchanged and news was caught up on over another Christmas cuppa. And now it’s time to start on the Christmas wrapping...
