Empty Rooms

Kate & Sophie stayed over after Tess's birthday meal and this morning had to go up to Cribbs Causeway to collect a present she'd ordered for Sophie, so Tess, Sophie & I had fun in the park.

After that Tess & I set off for Gatwick and we arrived at the hotel we're staying in overnight for our early morning flight tomorrow in time for a meal and a vain attempt to get a good night's sleep.

What is it about these airport hotels that make them so soul-less and bland. I rarely manage to sleep well in them and tonight was no exception.

Just before bedtime I realised I hadn't taken a photo all day so here is an EHRB (Emergency Hotel Room Blip).
