Castlecary

Our Ramblers walk this morning was a 'there and back' route from Castlecary up into Allandale and then through Castlecary Low and High Woods.

The first part of Castlecary Low Wood takes one through the site of a former brick works and there's plenty of evidence of that on the ground, in some places where a clearly defined brick path has been created and in others where bricks and parts of bricks are just randomly strewn around.

Once through that section, underfoot conditions were quite muddy in parts today. However, there was a good covering of leaves in the part I chose for my daily Blip.
