Ship ahoy

A great couple of days spent exploring Rottnest island just off the coast of Perth WA. Some amazing wildlife located round the main town where we stopped a couple of nights. You’d walk out the door and there were Quakkas and Peacocks wandering around.

Getting about was by bike and was loads of fun. Only slightly marred by the Dugite snake - and yes it is venomous - that I managed to spook when the chain slipped on the bike as I was peddling up hill, causing it to shoot across the road directly at my partner who was suitably less than impressed by this for which she made her feelings know to me in no uncertain terms.
