xe lam

these old Lambretta trucks have been out of commissions for years but a few rickety ones still remains around Vietnam.

i'm quite fond of them, or at least my memories of them, because my dad's livelihood used to depend on these xe lam. i used to sleep on the front seat during the drive and went on many adventures with my dad that i can't seem to remember clearly (maybe that's how i got restless legs syndrome?). and of course, my brother fell out of the back of dad's xe lam on his birthday and we had to cancel his birthday party. ah, memories!
