Distant Mist On A Wet Day

A cloudy, cold and windy day with light drizzle falling. I walked down the lane to a gap in the hedgerow looking across the marsh grasses to some distant trees. I tried to reflect the damp feeling, when editing, by reducing saturation and contrast and emphasizing softness in the distance.

In the raw file the trees were quite dark against a brighter sky and I balanced the sky/tree exposure with a couple of masked gradients. Also I toned down the grass and added a touch of blue with the temperature slider.
