View from another bridge...

Walked across to Lamcy Plaza today after a morning in tackling much needed paperwork.

This was sometimes my walk/bike ride to work... all changed now as a. I no longer work there and b. the offices have moved! Not a bad view anyway and not far at all either (15min walk).

The Arabic writing on the wall says "Dubai." Click here to spot our taxis with their different coloured roofs. All taxis here are a beige-y colour with brightly coloured roofs so you can spot them from far. All school buses are now yellow with the name of the school printed in small on the back, so kids have to be careful they don't get on the wrong bus!!!

The rest of the pic? On the left foreground, you can see the drip system placed for future planting. A lot of emphasis is put to make the city pretty. The black tubes drip feed water all day so plants flourish. It wasn't rush hour so traffic is moving nicely. 3 lane dual carriageways are the norm. Nice.
