Wild Dog Mountain Fire

This is smoke from one of the many fires burning around the country.
I took it from the Megalong Road.It is burning south of the Megalong Valley behind the Wild Dog Mountains in remote, wild bushland.

At first we thought it was the one currently impinging on south Katoomba but that is a different blaze.
There is concern the fires may work their way east and threaten the lower Blue Mountains.

We were in Sydney this morning and it was very smokey but here, on the right side of the wind, it is quite clear.

I'm not sure if I can relate this to Bob's theme of lights except to say there is often concern someone lights them. However I have heard the authorities are pretty sure the culprit here is lightening.
