Parrots Put To Use

With everything in ‘soft focus’ this morning it was up for some coffee and toast before heading off to the Pavilions to decorate the Brownies tree.
Parrots, pieces of eight, crosses and a pirate replacing the traditional fairy atop the tree. We grabbed the opportunity for coffee and cake before heading home to light the fire and relax.
Early evening we were back at the Pavilions for the switch on, it’s always a good event, schools carol singing and the brass band playing before the count down and switch on by the Mayor.
Lots of ooohs and aaahs and some really great trees.
