Snake Bark

This was the day the septic tank was emptied.  We have had it emptied a number of times since moving into this house.  Invariably, the driver has been friendly, cheerful and with a very healthy sense of humour.  This one peered into our tank and thought that it looked really good and gave an entertaining running commentary of what he was up to.  Sometimes you can receive too much information.
The weather was hind enough and the dround dry enough for me to continue work on the rhubarb bed.  Nothing like a couple of hours hard labour outdoors to make you feel .... tired.
