Chic

My friend Muheti is from Mozambique but now lives in Johannesburg. If I used to post the occasional picture of my yellow and grey themed living room in Cambridge, it ain’t got nuffink on Muheti’s place.

This is in a residential area of Johannesburg, known as Killarney, which is full of characterful old tenements, now converted in various ways.

Despite its mega challenges, I’ve been thinking on this trip that South Africa would be an interesting place to live. I can imagine finding it constantly fascinating and with access to so many beautiful places.
