Rock Shelf
I’m not sure what the tag is for Abstract Thursday, perhaps one of my blip buddies can point me in the right direction. This is and image I took with my iPhone as I walked across the most fascinating rock shelf at the end of Warri Beach. It can be a great pastime, particularly when there is water in the rock pools. We headed home today to be confronted by another huge fire burning in the Jamison Valley that a couple of nights ago was threatening Scenic World. Paola will be interested to hear this. Happily all is well though and they were able to contain it without any loss of property. It’s still going strong though and I got the fright of my life when I drove out to Hargraves Lookout. I have to admit, it’s very unsettling.
On a very happy note, I opened the blind in Wombat’s Retreat at the end of the house and the little blue wren was sitting in the Hakea Bush. Now that WAS nice to come home to :)
I have added an extra which is a screen shot of the way the fire has impacted on the area we were going to go camping in. The firies must be working very hard to protect the town of Bawley Point and Merry Beach. It’s amazing how quickly that fire made it to the coast.
