The Big Little Stink

Well, here it is....the tiny one pot outhouse at Frohring Meadows that enraged residents across the road and inspired lots of ink in the local weekly paper.

The park commission allows county residents to attend meetings, but permits no public questions or comments. The construction of this and two small lean-tos without community input kicked up a firestorm of controversy, and claims of knowing what Mr Frohring who donated the land would have wanted, how this would ruin the view and lower property values, and, left lots of bad feelings.

Today I noticed 5 white pines were planted near the road and 3 near the outhouse. That was a good idea.

The lean-tos with one picnic table each are open facing north (i.e. the cold wind). Huh.
