Black Friday

The climate strike school students spent the day around Oxford drawing people's attention to the effects of consumption and by 4pm they were processing through the various levels of the big new(ish) shopping centre. As agreed, their elders turned out to support them with a flashmob. The shopping centre seemed very relaxed about the protest as long as no-one took photos of shoppers and after a bit it was easy to see why. We were dwarfed in the huge space and our voices just drifted up inaudibly into the high echoing roof.
