Afternoon Stroll

This morning we joined a familiarisation resort of the hotel and its facilities in the entertaining company of Jordan, who appears to be in charge of the various land and water activities available at the hotel.

This was followed by a lot of lounging, reading, eating and drinking which should have made us think about doing some of the activities Jordan had described; instead we took a stroll along the beach in the direction of the town. This was taken from as far as you can get, where there is a little town beach with 2 or 3 lively bars. On the way we passed the local cemetery which almost spills onto the beach, not a bad place to be buried, and the small local airstrip.

Our hotel is in the far distance, just before the curve of the bay. The food and hospitality here has been superb. We may need more walks like this.

In extras are a sand crab who kept me entertained by playing hide and seek in his burrow by my lounger and tonight's sunset, complete with guest cruise ship
