Quiet Nelson

This morning I was in Nelson for the movies.  I went to 'Knives Out' which I thought was fun.  Afterwards I walked up to the Cathedral  to see the Christmas Tree display.  There was funeral taking place so I couldn't see the trees.  I took this pic looking down from the steps and there was not much happening.  I think this will all change later in the month when the holiday makers turn up.  I hope so for all those restaurants who today appeared to be very quiet.  On the walk back to the car I bought a pair of earrings for my daughter in law.  They are made by a Nelson jeweller and I like them so I hope she will.  Now for a present for the son.  It was 28c or 82f today.
