From Mt Cass .....

..... looking out over Pegasus Bay, with Banks Peninsula way in the distance. That looks towards where my home is! Such a beautiful view.

I had the day out with the Pegasus Walkers. We had a most enjoyable and scenic walk up through the rocks and craggy thick trunked trees to the trig station atop Mt Cass. After lunch there, being serenaded by the wind in the wires, sounding like a steel band, we headed back down hill, into the teeth of a nor'west gale. It was quite an effort walking back downhill, into the gale! I don't think I've ever experienced that before.
