Center of Istanbul
Great Sinan, the architect, choose this spot as a center of Istanbul. A 128 cm long green marble stone, which was located southern corner of the Sehzade Mosque, stands at the equal distance from Byzantium city walls.
Although this green pillar could be turned around its vertical axis by the help of iron spindles located at the bottom and top of the stone, it is no longer movable.
Love to all.
