Winter dusk

These dark evenings are so depressing. By 4 pm it is already very gloomy in southern UK, and darker still further north. Now for the good news: the winter solstice, and the shortest day, is now only 17 days away. By Christmas the days will already be starting to lengthen again. Hooray for that prospect!
