Winter Egret

We went for another frosty walk this morning and I was excited to see the two Egrets in the pond, feeling sure I could get a picture of them both together. However, as is so often the case, a pair of Labradors came bounding along and scared them off. One flew away over the trees but this one perched for a while - until yet another Labrador bounced onto the scene. Long enough to get a couple of photos, though, including the one in Extras which shows the point it noticed the approaching Labrador.
