Coming in to land

It's been a good year for magpies and there were a few on the field this morning so I managed to grab a couple of shots. They are lovely birds with the distinctive colouring and that smashing lozenge-shaped tail.

The predicted snow didn't arrive so you've been saved moody shots of the stuff - maybe tomorrow?
