Flotsam & Jetsam

We had a wild night with heavy rain and strong winds......
and the beach front told a similar story this morning....
The waves were rolling in....and there was a lot of spray in the air
All the signs showed that the waves had washed right up to the promenade and road......
next to the footpath, there was a line of marine litter.....
a mixture of sea weed, bits of drift wood, plastics, paper and other bits of rubbish
The beach cleaners were at work, raking and lifting all the rubbish, which showed where the waves had reached,d
