Candy Canes

Many thanks to Ingeborg for hosting Abstract Thursdays!

When we saw the doctor yesterday, we both thought he meant that surgery would be right away.  Unfortunately, his schedule is full until January 7th.  Nothing to do but wait....but we are at the top of the cancellation list.  PD is reasonably comfortable and his attitude his really good.  I told him that he can't sit around like an invalid for a month so tomorrow he's going to get dressed and the three of us are going to go for a nice slow walk and maybe out to lunch.  He's been on the couch in his pajamas since Friday!

Thank you to everyone who has stopped by and sprinkled stars and hearts!  Sorry I haven't been visiting.  I'll try to get back to it soon.

Even though we were hoping that he would be well into his recovery by January 7th, I am grateful that PD's condition isn't bad enough to require immediate surgery!
