The Palace

Palenque archaeological site is very beautiful with interesting remains of what were obviously wonderful buildings in the first few centuries AD.  We enjoyed it there today although it was very hot and humid.  There were interesting wares for sale too and we are managing to buy a few Christmas presents while we are here.

We move on again tomorrow and we are gradually edging closer to the airport for our journey home in a few days.  That will be a bit of a shock to the system - temperature and time wise.
