Sun Rise

At Lambert Castle this morning we left the car park via the route through the woods and we're a little surprises when we came to the open area, that there had indeed been a light fall of snow over night.

Sun rise was underway but it soon disappeared into the cloud layer and did not reappear leaving a slightly dank morning that has been the story of the day really.

We did some shopping and Mrs M took the afternoon walk while I fixed a new towel rail in the kitchen. I ended my session by cooking coq au vin for dinner!
