Update

It has rained and we have had amazing thunderstorms all afternoon, and so we cancelled the BBQ we planned with friends tomorrow night. Since then the rain has stopped and all is calm...we are taking credit for the change in weather!!

This seat and picnic shelter have become my barometer for the rising lake. It is so painful for the retailers as they see the lake seeping closer and closer to their businesses. Many have closed , as they have no sewerage now. More rain is forecasted tonight and tomorrow- especially in the hills, so this weather event us not over yet. The poor tourists look very bedraggled.
