Week 12 of A Year With My Camera is all about shadow.  

The homework involves a lot of sunlight and indirect sunlight but I have now entered the time of year when sunlight is scarce, so I'm going to just focus on finding shadows.

The day didn't get light enough yesterday to take good photos, so I played with different lighting in the evening.  The extra photo has hard shadows from the regular overhead light.  The umbrella seems to take away some of the shadows and it made the colours nicer.  I have a long way to go to learn how all these lights work together.
