“Triggers Broom”

Fans of ‘Only Fools & Horses’ will remember the episode where Trigger explains that he has been using the same broom for years, it’s had umpteen new handles and heads but it’s the same broom.
So it is with Clare's ironing board, originally her Mums with a chipboard ironing board covered with fearnaught material and linen with a commercial cover.
Over a period of time the chipboard has reacted with the steam and downward pressure and taken on a curve so today it was time to replace the bowed chipboard with cut and shaped timber. A lack of space in the ‘man cave’ meant temporarily converting the kitchen to a workshop.
