Ready for the week

I woke this morning with an awful sore throat. The kind that it's hard to swallow. Argh! Worse still, I seem to have gone through all my pain killers. There was absolutely nothing in the flat to help.

G went to church on her own and I stayed in bed. We ordered food in for lunch and later, when the pharmacy opened, I ordered some tablets. I felt heaps better by 5:30 pm so my day began then.

The biggest thing I've done today is the ironing (whilst listening to Christmas carols). Over two hours of it, but it is all finished, and the rest of the weekend is mine, and I am ready for a new week. It's going to be manic.
