Book choice

Regular readers may remember that, some months ago, I agreed that CarbBoy could watch Game of Thrones, but that we could not watch it faster than I read the books.  I kept up on book/season one, but it seems that the books got longer and the seasons didn't....  I am still, months after we finished watching season 8, on book 3 (I think, or 4).  

When I spotted tonight that I still have many hours of reading to go in just this book, I took the decision to put it aside and finally get to the Philip Pullman book that we've had in the house for months, but not read yet.

All of which to say, not much happened.  I started feeling poorly, so I guess that's news.
