An Evening Of Celebration
This evening was the Christmas Celebration service at Yeldall Manor - the Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation centre started by my parents 42 years ago. There are quarterly Celebration services where family, friends and supporters can come and hear the testimonies of those who are graduating from the programme. The one in December has a Christmas theme to it and we sang a few traditional and new (to me!) carols. Five of the graduating guys were honoured this evening. It’s always a moving event.
After the service we had tea and mince pies in the main lounge. There’s always a beautiful giant tree in this same corner. These are the trees from 2 years ago and 4 years ago.
