Carolina Chickadee
I rarely blip these little birds because they rarely hold still long enough for me to focus on them.
Carolina chickadees and black-capped chickadees are pretty nearly identical - and in fact occasionally hybridize where their populations overlap. But here at our house in Central Virginia, and south of here, we can be pretty certain we're looking at the Carolina chickadees. In Maryland it might be iffier.
